Mission

Green Living Tips seeks to provide earth friendly living guides and environmental news to those wanting to understand the environmental challenges we face and how we can address those challenges as individuals; through changes in lifestyle and consumption patterns. Feedback mechanisms on the site allow for visitors to ask questions about topics covered and to share their own tips with others - this user involvement aspect is an integral part of Green Living Tips' success.

Newsletter statistics

As of May 2008, the Green Living Tips newsletter goes out every two weeks to approximately 5,300 double opt-in confirmed subscribers, i.e. those who have had to go through a confirmation process to be added to the list, with 15 - 50 new subscribers currently being added daily. The newsletter is very well-received, achieving an average unique open rate of at least 36% each issue.

As of late January 2008, Green Living Tips.com contains over 400 articles and blog posts, plus hundreds of comments from visitors to the site.
