The Robbie Adrian Story

In July of 2007 Robbie Mahlman and Susan Doris launched Robbie Adrian luxury organics - their goal being to get more parents to think green for their baby and home.

Just over a year later, Robbie Adrian blankets are now sold online (www.robbieadrian.com) – and in nearly 150 select stores across the US and in 6 countries, are a favorite with shoppers, including many celebrities.

Our Earth-friendly Products

Robbie Adrian luxury organics produces a line of 100% certified organic cotton blankets trimmed in natural silk for babies, toddlers and adults.  The company recently launched its new “Peace Silk” line combining their luxurious 100% organic fleece with piping made of Peace Silk – silk where the silkworm is allowed to emerge from the cocoon naturally and complete its life cycle.

Like all Robbie Adrian luxury organic blankets, the Peace Silk styles are made in the USA and machine wash and dry.

Our Organic Cotton

Robbie Adrian’s luxury organic baby blankets are made from 100% certified organic cotton velour and fleece. Organic cotton has been grown naturally without the use of harmful chemicals.

The organic cotton fabric is made from yarn spun and knitted on the east coast, and the blankets are assembled and shipped from California.

Our Elegant Sustainable Packaging and “Green Living” -

  • Robbie Adrian receipts are printed on seeded lotka paper.
  • Each receipt can be planted directly into the soil to produce a bloom of red and white Coreopsis and Sweet Alyssum flowers!
  • A gift arriving from Robbie Adrian is in a box hand covered in lovely saa-paper, from the fast growing, easily renewable, mulberry tree, too pretty to throw away!
  • The elegant wrapping tissue is handmade with kozo; which falls naturally from mulberry trees.
  • The gift enclosure card is designed with an insert, so that the card can be reused by the recipient.
  • The box and blanket are both tied with 100% natural silk ribbon.
  • The shipping box is made out of 55% recycled fiber content.
  • All of our hang tags and stationery are made from 100% PCR paper.
  • We donate any “gently used” or flawed blankets to local childrens charities.
